“Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre is a privately owned healthcare facility in Mumbai. Philanthropist Seth Lokoomal Chanrai and surgeon Shantilal Jamnadas Mehta founded it. The former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, inaugurated the hospital on July 6th, 1973. Jaslok Hospital has been certified by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), a board established by the Quality Council of India (QCI) to set up and operate an accreditation program for healthcare organizations. The certification is valid from June 23rd, 2019, to June 22nd, 2022. The hospital offers various medical specialties and services, including the Department of Anesthesiology and Imaging & Interventional Radiology Department with Conventional Radiology, CT scan, MRI section, and Mammography. The Department of Radiation Oncology has the latest Pet-Scan, modern Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery, Advanced Dental Surgery, Dermatology, E.N.T. Department, fully equipped I.C.U, PICU & NICU.
